Going Green - Eco Range

The 20th century is clearly a time of change, more so toward making the environment an important issue that matters and applies to everyone. Standing up to support the movement of “going green”, Electrolux the thoughtful design innovator is making changes in its company and the way they make their products, so that it is safe for the environment, for its consumers and future generations.

Over the last years, environmental issues such as energy efficiency and emission reduction have become increasingly important and addressing them has become more urgent than ever. To dovetail the green changes made around the world and in business, Electrolux offers eco-range of appliances that provide best-in class energy and water performance to help make a difference for our world’s environment. Furthermore the earth friendly collection is designed to meet the highest standards of water and energy efficiency.

Laundry
Electrolux’s Eco-Range of top load and front load washing machines feature WELS Water Ratings from 4 to 5. High centrifuge efficiency results in lower energy consumption if the laundry is tumble dried. Delayed start and stand-by features to help redistribute energy use away from peak load times, reducing the need for new power plants.

Cooking
An electric oven with A rating is up to 15% more energy efficient than an oven with a B rating. In one year, a typical oven consumes approximately 300 kilowatt hours, whereas an Electrolux “A” class oven consumes 245 kilowatt hours – an 15% reduction which can be translated into a saving of two-and-a-half months of oven use.

Scandinavian in heritage and a trusted name in the industry, Electrolux goes beyond its commitment to always think of the customer, when developing inspiring products. Looking at the bigger picture – the environment, Electrolux recognizes its role in adapting to the environment and its consumers needs.
